  • Knockwurst (boiled sausage): Made with finely chopped beef and pork, a knockwurst looks like a great hot dog. However, the difference in quality is huge and the knockwurst is made with premium ingredients.
  • The pink color comes from light smoking after the first boil and the special casing makes the sausage “split” when you bite it. This sausage is prepared in bull water like hot dogs, then served on a good rye bread with Dijon mustard.
